PRESENTATION The Moslem Cultural Organization of Northern Nantes (ACMNN) created in 1992, (Declaration of December, 1st 1992, J.O. 16/12/92 N°: 1002) is planning the construction of a Mosque and of an Islamic Arts center. The Association currently has exiguous buildings which do not enable its members to practice the whole of their religious and cultural activities under good conditions. We managed to acquire a field of approximately 1625 m2 thanks to the kindness of Allah, in order to build a Mosque and an Islamic Arts center. This ground has been made available to us by the city of Nantes. Projects of the association : - The association’s first aim is to organize Muslim worshiping activities under better conditions (daily prayers, Friday prayers, Tarawih prayers during the month of Ramadan, the two main holiday prayers...) - Contributing to activities aimed at educating the Muslim community and helping its members to live in harmony with society. - Encouraging meetings, dialogues, exchanges, mutual aid and solidarity by developing sporting, scientific and cultural activities. - Promoting activities involving community life.
